The spirit of service was instilled in me by two remarkable women - my mother and mother-in-law. Both of whom quietly and selflessly helped those in need. Their example stayed with me, but it was only when life tested me personally that I truly came to understand the weight of suffering. In 2001, a life-altering accident involving my husband turned my life upside down. With my children still young, those years demanded immense courage, patience and hope. As we slowly emerged from that storm, I found myself drawn to service - working with various organisations in search of healing. Yet, something within me longed for deeper fulfilment and purpose. On 14th March, 2018, I took a leap of faith and founded Kalyanam Foundation. What began as a small act of hope has since grown into a flourishing banyan tree of compassion - offering shade, strength, and support to those who need it most. This journey has been possible only because of the unwavering commitment of our dedicated team and generosity of our kind-hearted donors who walk beside us every step of the way. Together, we are building a future rooted in compassion, dignity and hope.
